Hi,
I'm not really sure what I'm supposed to write here so I thought I'd say a little bit about myself. I made this account months and months ago...which is why I have a really stupid username My dream is to live in Canada but I'm actually from little old England. I'm currently studying English Literature at University in Wales. My main aim is to become healthier. Of course looking skinnier would be a massive plus and boost my confidence but truthfully I've been quite ill recently and I believe that my health is partially to blame for this. I am a student so I'm going to be looking at trying to lose weight on the cheap - In the past I've been victim to stupid fad diets...dangerous stuff that makes you lose weight too quickly and everything but I don't want that. I'm 20 years old, some people say I'm a little young but my BMI was obese so BELIEVE ME I'm not.
I don't know if my goal is stupid, I hope it isn't and I hope it is feasible. At the beginning of the Summer (July 10th) I weighed myself and I was 13 stone 9. I actually cried because I had never been so big. My last weigh in was three weeks ago and I was 12 stone 5. I'm hoping to have lost a little more but I lost my motivation over those three weeks due to personal issues. I don't feel I have put any weight on but unfortunately I've not got any scales currently so my next weigh in will have to wait until next week when I'm going to buy some. For now though I'm going to say I'm 12 stone 5. My recent weigh loss has been simply down to walking my dogs (as I was home from uni!) for two hours a day and going on long walks when I had time. I also ate mainly chicken, fish, salads and fruit. I didn't skip meals although I'm awful and never eat breakfast...I'm going to try really hard to now! I'm really proud with the amount I've lost but I want to get to 9 stone 4 ultimately.
My little goal along the way is I want to get to 10 stone for Christmas/New Years as me and my boyfriend are going away to Paris and I'd like to be feeling better about myself. It's about 15 weeks away and I'd have to loose 33 pounds assuming I am still 12 stone 5. This means it would be about 2.2 pounds a week which I think is manageable. I'd like to ultimately reach my goal by Valentines day which gives me plenty of time...I hope! I don't know too much about all this stuff which is why I need help!!
