Enough of the excuses!!!!

I have been 'convincing' myself for a long time that I was going to get up early and start running or riding my bike to work, but I kept finding excuses not to do it - oh it's raining, I didn't sleep very well etc etc. I know I was making these excuses as I was taking myself out of my comfort zone - exercising outside in front of people, I know it sounds weird but when I'm in the gym everyone is doing the same thing and focused on their workout.
Well this week I don't know what has happened but I have done both theses things, I went out for my first run a few evenings ago, and I actually quite enjoyed it and found I was able to run further than I thought I would be able to. this morning I forced myself up early and rode my bike the 10k to work, (I have yet to ride home) but that was easier than I thought as well, so I have decided to do this 3 times a week saving myself a fortune in petrol!
What are the silliest excuses you have made not to do an exercise/activity?

    Good stuff! Thanks for sharing! Kudos to you finding a way to get in that exercise!

    The silliest excuse I have ever used to not go to the gym was that the locker room smelled bad. Granted, I lived a couple of miles from the gym and could just go there in my workout clothes and leave right afterwards without even stepping foot into the locker room (let alone sniff it), but I was like "what if I have to use the bathroom?" or "what if I want a drink from the water fountain that's near the locker room?"
