Period cravings help?!

My period will be coming in about 2-8 days and boy, my cravings hit me so hard today. I craved for anything under the sun. Anything but the salads I usually make and this includes fruit as well. I usually eat a lot of fruit and vegetables everyday and I can literally go weeks without carbs like rice, noodles, bread, etc, but today was an exception. I just wanted anything carby and basically I had a lot of fleeting cravings.
For example, I would suddenly feel like eating chocolate biscuits. Since I don't have any chocolate biscuits with me nor anywhere around, I would wait a little. Although the craving for chocolate biscuits faded away after say 15 minutes, my cravings will change from chocolate biscuits to noodles, and after 15 minutes, hot chocolate and it goes on.
It's so frustrating and annoying. I did give in to my cravings a bit by eating a small piece of chocolate, other cravings would come in and I find myself lost and confused. This is the first time this has happened and I don't know how to cope with it! What should I do?? What do you guys (girls in this matter hehe) do?

Eat a small piece of choc. Or just a little portion of noodles. This is what i would do but I bwlieve.everything in moderation is ok. I eat some choc a.few times.a week. I Also eat carbs I eat pasta.once a.week. Bread daily. Noodles occasionally as part of lunch. So i dont get cravings. When u tell urself u cant eat.this.food.u want it even more. I think that leads to binge eating.0

Cacao powder is very high in iron. It may be iron you are craving. I like 2 tablespoons of unsweetened cacao powder, a banana and a cup of skim milk and make a really chocolaty smoothie that satisfies my craving.0

I get semicolon cravings mostly.0

I have PMDD that drives my appetite,cravings and ability to eat within control right out the window. I found staying really busy outside of the house -walking,extra workouts, etc really helped control it. Also bulking up on salmon,nuts,yogurt and fruit - will helps keep the extreme cravings at bay. I give in.
I crave all things salty, mostly potato chips. What I do though, and it takes some willpower, is I tell myself I can have some only after I eat something healthy. So I'll grab an apple and then I'll have some chips. I eat a lot less at that point. That's the best way for me.0
