I've been using Splenda in my coffee lately, and notice that when I log the Splenda in my diary, it says ZERO calories, but to grams of Carbs. Is it possible to have carbs without calories?
I remember being told that every gram of carbs has 4 calories (or something like that).
I'm confused....

That's because the label laws say if the calories are under 5, they don't need to be on the label. There's a way better, more technical, phrasing for that but that's the gist.0
