Shocked! How on earth did this happen?

Paid a visit to my GYN today for my annual physical. I knew he'd be pleased with my weight loss but I had no idea it would be quite as pleased as he turned out to be!
The last time I'd been to the office had really been 15 months ago, and on that date, I'd weighed not the 245 I'd recorded as my starting weight with MFP, but in fact 257, SO- my total weight loss now is actually FIFTY POUNDS!!!!
I knew I'd lost a few pounds before my first MFP post, but I'll tell you the truth, I had no idea that it was over ten pounds, and that it would bring my total loss up so far.
Makes me feel as though someone gave me a belated birthday present!

Don't you just love those kind of surprises! Kinda like finding some money in a jacket or something when you really need it.
