Greetings all, just looking for support and encouragement from fellow folks with the same goals weather to loose weight , remain healthy ect.
I have a question:
When I'm at the gym and I'm on the treadmill it will say for example I burned 300 calories, but when I plug in to MFP that I ran certain amount it gives me a almost 200 lower calorie burnt. which calculation should I put in? please help me with this. Thanks

If you're using the built in heart rate monitor grip deals on the treadmill, accurately putting in all of your information on the device, and holding on to the handles the whole time.. I'd go closer to that number.
If you see you're doing a ton of steady state cardio (running/treadmill/elliptical/arc trainer), I'd really, really recommend purchasing a heartrate monitor with a chest strap. Everything that you're going to use, whether it's the app/treadmill/hrm, is going to be an estimate. At least the HRM will give you a slightly closer estimation.0
