trail running shoes for mixed terrian runs

I just bought some trail running shoes but some of my routes involve, mud, grass, packed dirt, stony paths and road. My question is;
Is it ok to use trail running shoes to run roads if they are an unavoidable part of a route?

It isn't a problem. It just feels a little weird with the tread.0
