Looking for gluten free support! About 40% of my family has celiac. I was diagnosed recently and need good support. Those in my family who are not allergic decided to live gluten free anyway and they've all lost a tremendous amount of weight, and are healthier.

Going gluten free isn't necessarily a recipe for weight loss. Most substitute products have more calories than the regular foods. The easiest way to go gluten free is to just eat whole foods that you cook yourself and quit using prepackaging foods. Meat, veggies, fruit, eggs and dairy don't contain gluten.0

my husband just found out he has celiacs too. I really want to go gluten free along with him. Ideally I want to eat a clean diet.0

There's a Gluten Free support group here on MFP, too.
