I started a blog a few weeks ago and one of my topics is healthy recipes on a budget. Alot of people say they dont eat healthy because it costs more and yes it can totally seem that way. But with a little research and budgeting you can eat healthy and afford it. I should know im a student on government scholarship and I have found a way to afford it.
Tip#1. Hunt around for a fresh food supplier that sells directly from the farm. Once day I got lost down an alley and found a meat and veg supplier that sells directly from the farm and its at least 20% cheaper and fresher than the supermarkets. I can now buy three weeks worth of food for the price I was paying for 1.5 weeks worth of food. It pays to do your research.
