I understand flax seed is good for you.
Lowering your cholesterol and also helps to speed your metablolism up.

So, does anyone know how much you should have a day? Thx

I like to put ground flaxseed in my oatmeal for breakfast and I only put about 1 tbsp. I also bought flaxseed oil supplements and I believe (but my memory could be wrong) that the dosage is 1000mg and it says to take 2-3 per day, or maybe that is 1000mg total per day... Just keep in mind that there are calories in flaxseed. About 9-10 calories per serving for mine. But I think the benefits (lower cholesterol, healthy heart, fiber for regularity) far out weigh that small amount. It also contains omega 3 which I read can help battle belly fat!!

I have ground flax seed that I toss in my oatmeal, on my salad dressing, or on yogurt. I usually have 1-2 tablespoons per day, (but forget to have it everday) The package says it has 60 calories per 2 Tablespoon serving.
