I see MFP has you at 1370 calories, and you've told it more than me.

30 pounds over six months is a bit more than a pound a week - did you choose that setting when doing the goals calculation ? If so it thinks you use 1870 cals a day so 1370 is a 27% cut which may be ok to start with but you may need to eat a bit more as you progress as you'll have less fat stores to pull on.

Try to get rid of the sugar in the drinks, the banana and other sources of recreational carbohydrate. Get adequate protein and good fats / oils.

What do you not trust about the guidelines MFP gave you?

If you don't like those, there are a number of BMR calcualtions out there that can really help. They take into account age, gender, lean body mass, etc.

One of the least accurate methods, but requires the least knowledge is the Harris Benedict (for men): (13.75 x kilos) + (5 x centimeters) - (6.76 x years) + 66.

The Mifflin equation takes into account changes in lifestyles since the HB was postulated: (10 x kilos) + (6.25 x centimeters) - (5 x years) + 5

The Katch-McCardle formula uses lean body mass, because muscle requires different calorie needs than fat. 370 + (21.6 * LBM in kilos). Of course, for this you have to know how much lean mass you have.
