Hey Night Owls! (Tracking Question)

I work late, some nights ridiculously late. I've been enjoying doing a little cardio when I come home from work to help me get to sleep and shake off the stress of my day. The question is, if you keep late hours like me, do you log food or exercise after midnight as part of your new day or do you roll back to the day it was (before midnight) and count it then. I've always felt that my "day" isn't over til I go to sleep & back up. Just curious what the rest of you folks do. Thanks!
