Hi. I know I sound ridiculously daft but I'm having trouble figuring out calories for bowl of oats. If the serving size is 50g on the packet does that mean dry or cooked?
For breakfast I use 50g dry oats with 200ml water zapped in the microwave. So what calorie measurement shoudl I put down?

The measurement is dry. And since you just made with water, you'd enter the 50g nutritional info.0

Usually the measurement on the package is for the dry oats. When you add water to cook them they double up in size/amount, so if you want a cup of oatmeal, then you should cook half a cup and post it as such. Remember though to post any additives such as milk, raisins, etc. separately or create a meal on your database to make it much easier.0
