Hi my name is Dani. I'm a 26 year old mother of two. My weight problem started recently. I gained 100 pounds while pregnant with my son! Had my daughter 6 years ago, normal pregnancy, gained 30 pounds. NOT THIS TIME!
Baby boy was born June 16 2013. The week I had him I lost 30 pounds, then a few weeks later another 10. But now I'm stuck! I'm fairly active and I've been REALLY trying to eat and live healthy. My daughter keeps asking when I'll be skinny again and it hurts! I just want to be happy in my own skin again!

You'll get back to where you were, just make it a priority, watch what you eat and get on a regular exercise routine. My wife and I also have two girls, she gained 35 lbs with our first girl and 48 lb with our second girl. It took her about 9-12 months to get back to where she was beforehand after delivering but she got there. She just ate healthy and exercised regularly and the weight came off naturally. She also didn't weigh herself for the first few months, she just gauged her progress by how her clothes fit.
You're still young too so age is on your side with a higher metabolism. I've gained lost 20-30 lbs a couple times as well as I gained the "sympathy weight" with her each time haha! It's just a matter of calories in vs out for weight loss. Eat a little less, exercise a little more, give yourself 6-12 months to lose it, and you should be able to do it!
I've plateaued many times before with weight loss. Sometimes its just your body, it wont lose weight in a linear fashion each week. But many times it was me allowing my portion sizes to creep up, grazing at the cupboards at night more frequently, etc.0 -
I am a mother of 2 as well 36 years old and need to lose about 25 pounds to feel better about myself. My children consume most of my off times --as I am on the computer before I go to bed trying to figure out how I can start getting workouts in during the day plus work full time.
Please let me know of any secrets that are working for you.0
