Making Fried Chicken

I'm making fried chicken drumsticks and strips today and trying to figure out the calories. I can calculate the nutrition of all the ingredients, except the oil. My question is, how much oil normally stays in the chicken when frying? I was thinking of just using KFC's nutrition. Would that be close enough?

I am not sure about how much oil will be absorbed but I was going to suggest what you said and use KFC nutritional info. Just seems much easier to use that to estimate. Other thing you might want to do is search the MFP food database for fried chicken and get a round about guesstimate.0
