Starting T25 Gamma next week - has anyone done this one yet? Looking for some advice on weights. Throughout the Alpha/Beta round I was only using 5lb weights, which wasn't really pushing me.

I have done all Gamma workouts and like Beta you wont need a lot of weights here, i use 20 lbs but sometimes i had to go as low as 2 pounds for exercices like Superman pulse with weights.
I don't know how in shape you are but if you really push yourself hard you wont need a lot of weights, but if you were using 5 pounds in Beta you could try upping to 10-15 lbs but if your form goes bad you will have to decrease the weights.0 -
Thanks for the advice. I was thinking I would try 10s where I could, and have the 5s handy for when I can't handle the extra weight.
And I don't know that I could use any weights for superman pulse, but I will definitely try! Thanks again!0 -
I'm also starting gamma next week............last week of beta! woo only 4 weeks of gamma and then its time for a hybrid with running.0

Nice, I love Beta! So much better than Alpha...
Actually, looking at my calendar I think I may start Gamma this week while finishing up Beta. Starting Insanity on Oct 7th so I really want to give Gamma a couple of weeks! Should be arriving today.0 -
Any further info on Gamma? I've still got a while before I would need to order them anyway, as I'm in week 4 of Alpha. It just seems like a lot at $60+ for the 4 workouts. I'm looking for input as to whether the workouts are worth shelling out the extra cash.0

I'm doing Gamma and just started week 3 and I LOVE IT!!!! It is the perfect amount of cardio, core and weight training.
I use 8# & 10# mostly, but 15# for the back exercises, upright rows, and some of the bicep moves. I'm switching dumbells often as I usually start heavy but have to swap out when my muscles are exhausted.
The weighted supermans are hard even with 5# so I have a pair of 3# dumbells that I use for that move.0 -
Thanks for the info! If I decide to get it, I'll definitely need to get some heavier weights, then. My heaviest dumbbells are only a measly 8#. lol0
