Considering switching activity levels

Hey everyone, so I am currently around 153lbs, looking to drop another 15-20 for my first goal (may re-evaluate after depending on how things are looking!) and I have my activity set to sedentary. But, I do have a job where I am on my feet for a large part of the day (standing, not running about or anything). I am losing weight atm, probably around 1/2lb a week on average, which is fine (I have my setting to lose 1 per week but I often go a little over on cals so not surprised it's 1/2lb/wk) but I wonder if having that slightly higher calorie goal would be of benefit, or not..

There is every chance I will just drink those extra calories I hasten to add, as I am generally very satisfied with the amounts of food I am getting atm - but I DO like a drink of an evening. So really, is there any point me upping it? I would be particularly interested in hearing from people that have made the same change and how it affected them, I don't know what's for the best really!

(my current daily intake goal is set at 1250)

I don't know how old you are, but I'm 154 lbs, 5'5", 35, and I've been losing at 1650 a day. My TDEE is around 2000-2100 in average, I walk in average 5 miles a day. So it really depends on your activity the rest of the time too.

I am often stationary when not working, though I do walk my dogs daily and also have a long day thursdays as three weeks out of the month I run a dog training class for a couple of hours as well. I guess I just worry that much of a higher intake is going to stall things, as in all honesty I've not made huge diet changes, just stopped drinking ribena at work, grazing on less sweets (there's always some on the go!) and having a lower calorie lunch - my dinners and general eating habits have always been pretty balanced and healthy as it is, having said that, those "few changes" probably dropped my intake up to 500cals in a day, which would account for the loss. Maybe part of me wants to just get that "and was under her calorie goal" line more often, as though I rarely go way over, it often is by 100 or less calories.

I probably would just drink the calories :drinker:
