Does anyone have cookie brands and/or ideas from the recipe section for delicious (yet healthy) cookies? Any flavor.

yes yes yes! find a recipe u like... in place of butter/oil add unsweetened apple sauce and in place of white flour... add wheat and maybe some oats too!!!! and in place of sugar, add a banana or 2! and add nuts instead of chocolate.
ill try to dig up my old recipe but its virtually anything YOU like and want... with some swaps =]
i literally add no sugar (tho last time i made banana bread i did add some sugar....)
but with the apple sauce swap ur cutting out ALL the fat of a real cookie
and somehow... it works JUST like butter?!0 -
They are out there, on the Internet - tons of recipes. However, my feelings are that dessert is suppose to be indulgent so - when I feel the need I plan my day knowing that I am going to have something and then I have a small piece of whatever it is versus a large piece, or 1 or 2 cookies versus 3-4. I have found in the past that if I have a hankering for something I end of eating more calories trying to eat a healthly version of it and not satisfying my "craving" then if I had just had two oatmeal raisin cookies (or whatever the desire was) and being done with it.0
