Going on holidays

How to keep with the regime while on holidays (I sounds like Mugabe).
Now this is the next challenge.

Off for 5 days, any tips on keeping on track and not going on a massive foreign food sampling binge?
Gym is off the agenda, so will try to walk everywhere.

    Try to make decent decisions, enjoy yourself and get back to it when you return home.

    You're on vacation. Enjoy it. Go on a massive foreign food sampling binge. Work out when you get home.
  • Portion control! I know I won't eliminate the cookies and candies, turkey and stuffing, and just general deliciousness that occurs during the holidays, so I am going to just use moderate portion control and balance my pig out days with ones that are a little more calorie restrictive.
  • You totally mean vacations ha! I still think the same rules apply, just watch your portions :)

    make good decisions, practice portion control and real world intuitive eating. I've maintained easily for the past 5 months doing exactly this with no logging.

    Go away, eat the local food, drink the local beer, use the pool if there is one, swim in the sea if you are by the coast.

    In short enjoy your holiday, leave your scales behind and get back on it when you return

    I so agree with this. Vacations are for enjoying. Catch up on the dieting when you get home.
