My AWESOME Chicken Lasagne Recipe - 330 cals p/serve

Hi everyone,

Just thought I'd share this recipe with you all as it's low cal & absolutely delish :)

Number of servings: 6

Ingredients:

Chicken Mince, 500g
Latina - Fresh Lasagne Sheets, 250g
Ardmona - Crushed Australian Vine Ripened Tomatoes, 410g
Onions - Raw, 100g
Vegetable - Raw - Mushroom, 100g
Woolworths Home Brand - Tomato Paste, 170 g
Generic - English Spinach, 20g
Woolworths Homebrand - Light N Tasty Reduced Fat Cheddar Cheese, 50 g
Eggplant - Raw, 300 g
Coles - Minced Garlic, 10g

Total: 1,978cals / Per Serving: 330cals

All you do is fry up the mince & veges (no need for oil if you have a non-stick frypan) & let it simmer for around 30 mins. Layer it between the pasta sheets in a baking pan, scatter the cheese over the top & bake in a moderate oven for as long as needed. I also added half a cup of water halfway through baking to keep it moist.

We had a piece for dinner last night with some steamed carrots, brocolli & asparagus - YUMMO!!!!

    Sounds amazing Donna! I made lasagne today as well...it has a few more mins left in the oven :D I'll definitely have to try this out one day.

    Sounds yum! I've never actually seen minced chicken in the super market here in the UK.... or have I just missed it (any other UK peeps??)

    I have seen minced turkey though and bet that would taste practically the same with all the other ingredients. Or maybe I could go to a butchers and just ask for it, sure they would do it.

    No I've never seen minced chicken either in the UK. I'm going to try with turkey. :-)
