Toxic Hunger?

Anyone heard of this? Or experienced it? I figured it might be especially relevant for people who are bulking.

I'm a bit skeptical on some of the ideas...but I do think there are some good points, too.
The problem is, if I waited to be truly hungry all the time, I'd probably only consume like 1500 calories some days.

Btw, I'm not a fan of most of this guy's ideas. And that's being kind.
The part I do agree with, is that eating unhealthy food and not getting enough micronutrients can be an issue. But what constitutes an unhealthy food? And how are we supposed to gain muscle if we were to eat less than we burn? It's impossible, but he doesn't care! He never addresses how to gain muscle; only how to maintain what you have. I think in a lot of ways, bulking is similar to creating obesity...in terms of the biochemistry in the body with hormones that control hunger. Yet, it's a necessary evil. As long as it doesn't give me diabetes or other metabolic disorders in the short term, I'm happy. I know in the long term it will prevent such things.

Sounds like a boot camp for an eating disorder.
The beneficial results can be achieved by intermittent fasting then gorging on your calories (decide how many and of what and eat them all). Sure eat healthy food but only eating when your body needs you to and only as much as it needs is a bad plan for gaining muscle. This isn't natural in any way shape or form.0
