Do you count non-calorie items/food?

I've grown bored with plain water and have started added squirts of Mio and Dasani Drops to my bottles, occasionally. They are both zero calories. I only really care about tracking my calories and my protein, mostly everything else doesn't matter to me. Is it really necessary to track them? Does anyone else not track things with zero calories?

  • I try and track everrrrything. Food manufacturers are aloud to round down to "zero" calories on things that aren't actually calorie free. So for example splenda packets. The label says "zero" calories, but there are 4 calories a packet. 1-2 packets wont make much of a difference to your overall calorie count, but could add up.

It's really personal preference and I don't think it'll make much difference at all... But I track ice cubes haha my diary makes more sense to friends reading it if I track that way

There isn't no calorie food - food has calories. I know a lot of people talk about negative calorie food like fruits & veggies, but I don't follow that line of thinking....

But stuff like Mio or sweeteners, spices, that kind of stuff I don't track.
