And Then came college and so did the weight

I started college in july and i was noticing the i gain 3 pounds but i didnt pay it any mind but now i stepped on the scale and i am cuurently 263 a far stretch from my 249 weight i used to be ( not saying being 249 is any better ) but atleast i was on my way down so now that i gained back all this weight what are some things i can do to quickly get back on track besides the obvious is there any safe pills or regimens i can try to get me back on track during these times so i can get to my goal of 190 i want to get this weight by 6-8 months im tried of carrying this weight around but it seems like i take two steps forward and four steps back help me please
