Lifting weights in calories advise

Hi

I'm looking advise on how you put ur weights onto Mfp log, I did a numerous of different machines at different weight,
The weights ranged from 20/25/30/35 in reps of 3 x 12. I lifted weights for about 45-50 mins

Instead of putting them onto Mfp individual can you put in a bulk ?

Thanks for your help :))

I just put circuit training under the cardio part.- do my weight lifting in super-sets ( one exercise then another then back to the first) so it's more or less a circuit.

It's up to you if you want to log all the exercises that you are doing to keep track.

Once you put them in one time, you should be able to just add them again from your "recent" exercises too, if you want to track them all.

    Hi

I put any cardio in but wasn't sure if I should put the weights in, I'm just unsure what way it goes in and how many calories it burnt ?

I have always included my lifting sessions. I use Cardivascular > Strength Training.

It's pretty accurate I think, or at least it has always worked for me.

Once you have a month or so under your belt, go back and reevaluate your net calories and weight loss, and make any adjustments you need.

You'll find that in the long term 50 calories here or there in your estimates of calories burned don't really matter, although I know it helps when you're trying to hit or stay below your net goals.
