So I was reviewing my data from the cutting diet I did earlier in the year, and I came up with some really suprising numbers.

I am 5'4", 150 lbs. My BF% is at 14.5%.

Within a 10 Week Period:

Lbs Lost: 13
Average Wkly Loss: 1.3 Lbs
Average Cal Deficit: 650 calories (1.3 x 500)

1420 (Goal Daily Net Cals)
+
313 (Avg Daily Over/Under Net Cals)
=
1733 (Avg TTL Daily Net Cal)

1733 + 650 = 2383 Net Calories = Maintenance

WTF? Just to maintain apparently I have to eat 2383 calories net? Every calculator estimates that I need to eat that gross with exercise, and that my net is closer to 2,000 calories sedentary.

I eat back all of my calories from working out, which ranges from 200 - 450 calories. I NEVER miss an opportunity to eat them back lol

My guess is that MFP is underestimating the calories I've burned from weight lifting and exercise, or perhaps I've overestimated my calories consumed. Much more likely that it's the former.

But is this even possible?
