I have asthma pretty bad. But I do not have insurance to help pay for maintenance inhalers. I have to use my inhaler at least 3 times a week. Does anyone know how to help control it without using these things? I love to run. But it is almost impossible. Any advice would be appreciated!!

hi thre.............I used to have asthma as a kid, then it kind of went away
then as I got bigger, I noticed the wheezing...................
I was like you, dropped 100 lbs and my ashtmas gone..........I went to my Dr , actually, a specialist and he suggested weight loss
As I got thinner ,I started using the treadmill...............
Now I can do cardio for 2 hours and not wheeze a bit.............hopefully, when you get thinner , your asthma may begin to be less intense
Ihope this helps, Im not a Dr, but I have had asthma and now I don't ............
Exercise is really helpful in dealing with asthma................Best wishes0 -
Thanks for the input. But I am not over weight, I use this site to help me keep eating healthy. My asthma is triggered by allergies. Unfortunately I have them year round now. The older that I get the worse they get. Kinda frustrating!!!0
