I finally gave up my gym membership! Yay me!!! Seriously, I was faithful each week, but started getting bored and what use to be fun started to feel like work. Ran outdoors today and I feel revived! It was fun again...the sounds, the smells, the fresh air! Sure I'm going to miss my gym friends but I'm getting my mojo back. For the first time, I can say It feels GREAT to be a quitter:) it's running and cycling for this chic!
My advice....I you are in a rut, try something different! If you keep doing the same thing the same way, you will keep getting the same results! Stay motivated fiends!

I'm glad that this is what this thread is about -- I totally didn't think that this was where it was going! But I say, GOOD FOR YOU! I think too many people get stuck in the rut of having to go to the gym and it does become a chore instead of something good and fun you're doing for YOU. I only worked out at the gym when I didn't know I could do it at home (years and years ago) and now I do it at home and it has become fun and something I look forward to most days. Even if it's just a quick 30min. easy go bike ride. Keep on enjoying your time and gettin' your GROOVE back!0
