HOW DO YOU DO IT?!

Seriously, I constantly crave carbs and sugar and I don't even eat things with added sugar! And as for carbs, I am gluten sensitive so I avoid grains and my main sources of carbs are veggies and a small amount of fruit. I have to chew sugarfree gum like its my job to avoid stuffing everything in my mouth. I go through like a pack a day. What is my problem?! This is inhibiting my weight loss!

Open your diary so people can help you.
I make sure I fill myself up with good fats, lots of protein and a good amount of veggies and fruit.
Make sure you're eating enough or the cravings will get the best of you. Oh and drink lots of water.0 -
Just a guess, but is it possible that you're eating too few carbs? Maybe you need more, so your body is rightly craving them. There are many healthy gluten free grains such as quinoa and buckwheat. (I love toasted buckwheat--it really doesn't get the props it deserves!)
Also, maybe the sugar free gum is working against you. Supposedly diet pop will do that because your taste buds think you're getting sugar and your body responds, then gets disappointed that it didn't actually get sugar, then wants more/real sugar.0 -

This is true I should probably exile the gum. I also think I may have PCOS considering my period is wackadoodle and I have weird hair growth. Sorry TMI. Going to the gyno soon.0 -
Protein and fat are essential for me to avoid the carb cravings and feel satiated. Choose higher fat foods when possible -- whole eggs rather than egg whites, add avocado, etc. And I know dairy has carbs but it also really helps for me and counts as added protein.
Best of luck!0 -

I haven't heard anyone say 'wackadoodle' in years. That's going to be my word of the week.
Potato has a really high satiety rating. Apparently calorie for calorie, it's way better than rice and bread. That might help. Potato is my friend. So is meat. : and every three days or so, give yourself a big steak, with homemade chips from potato, parsnip, kumara, beetroot, carrots, yam, bell pepper, whatever you can find, thrown in the oven and sprayed with oil. I've been back on the wagon about 2 weeks now and I'm finding a good noshup (within the calorie limit) every so often makes me feel better about life.0
