Hi I'm new to the whole weight lose thing. I've been making attempts at it for the last 2 years and would not stay at it but this time I'm motivated to make it happen. Loving this site so far. Its to easy to count calories without me writing it down so this should be very helpful. Good luck to everyone!

    Limit fat and wasted calories.

    Record everything. (exercise, yard work, and foods)

    Learn to eat smart and for those things you like do it in moderation but try to stay out of the red. (especially for calories, cholesterol, sodium and fat).

    Lean to home cook dishes and not fast food.

    With this advice and more you should have a healthy future.

    I am sure you will love this site. Lots of information, encouragement and motivation. You can do it, just do it one day at a time and start with mini goal, then it doesnt seem so overwhelming
