Hi everyone, i just started using myfitnesspal.com yesterday! I love it beause i can access it on my phone anytime! Anyway, here is a little background info before i ask my question. I do not like lifting weights so i mainly do pullups, pushups, sit ups,and any variety of calistheincs i can find. every few hours or every hour on the hour i do some sort of of exercise. It lasts maybe about 5 minutes at a time but i push my limits. I also workout for about an hour every evening or every other evening with a few people. Will this routine help me at all? i.e. keeping my metabolism up during the day(along with my 6 small meals every 3 hours) and help burn fat?

I am no expert but I would think this would help burn fat and in turn help you to loose weight. Good luck and hang in there

It most certainly will....People often believe if you dont work out for atleast 1/2 hour straight you wont get results, its not true

Atlot of trainers suggest breaking it down, if you can get it all in one shot.....those five minute pushups etc, will give you results

Keep it up, every little will add up

Sounds like you're doing all the right things. I try to workout at least twice a day; morning and evening and do 5-6 meals a day. Seems to be working so far :)

i would suggest working up to 20 minutes at a time. ANY working out is better than not working out at all. but, longer in duration is always better.
