14 years after twins saggy front bum -Help me please!

I have been watching what I eat for a long time. (forever, but seriously now for 3 years) I'm not always successful at making good choices, but more often than not I'm having good days. I have been working out for 2 years doing various exercises, but since the middle of July I have been going to the gym to do a 30 minute circuit plus 30 minutes of random cardio three days per week. I have also been doing 45-60 minutes on another 3 days per week of other cardio at home -biking, jogging, zumba etc... plus some sort of core workout -usually a 30 minute or so fitness blender video. 3 weeks ago I started 5k training. Now I do 30 minutes of cardio (walk / jog) and a couple times a week I get the core workout in.

I eat about 1700-1800 calories per day, vegetarian (except when I'm not) It's a nutrition plan from the gym so it's got carbs protein and healthy fats included, divided into 5 equal meals / snacks a day.

I feel great. I think my legs, butt, back and shoulders are improving, but my belly just won't go away. I am so self conscious about it and nothing seems to work. I know it's all fat. it's the "14 years after twins saggy front bum" thing. Sexy, I know!

Can anybody tell me how to get rid of it? I know targeted exercise isn't supposed to help. Would a fat burner help??? I'm feeling desperate, I just want it gone. NOW.

    Try lifting heavy things repeatedly.

IE resistence and/or some sort of weight training program such as Strong lifts, Starting Strenght or New rules of lifting for woman.

Search woman who lift heavy and you will be pleased with what you see.

If it's just loose skin and it's been 14 years it's doubtful you'll be getting rid of it without surgery. If you want to know for sure, get your body fat measured and work on reducing it. No amount of exercise will get rid of loose skin or target belly fat.

My BF% has been measured. It's not just loose skin on me, it is a roll of fat. I am working on reducing fat in my body, and I am seeing results everywhere but the front of me.
  • I have 10 year old twins. If you look in my pictures, which should be publicly available, you can see that my stomach is relatively flat and I basically eliminated the twin pooch.

The ONLY thing that worked for me was running. Why? Because it burns fat and works your core as much as any ab exercise that you could do.

I agree that "lifting heavy things" as another poster put it does help. I do that too. If you lift correctly, you are using your core. However, I attribute my stomach to running.

Hope this helps! It can be done.

For us ladies that store our fat in the midsection and belly... it is a long fight to get rid of it. Take heart, be patient and keep doing what your doing. Belly fat is often the last to go, so be persistent and patient. I see that you already lift but I would emphasize a little more on the heavy lifting don't be afraid to go heavy!

Also diet has A LOT to do with belly fat. There are some foods that rev up the metabolism, look into those and include lots of lean protein, fiber and healthy fat in your diet!

Don't try surgery yet.....My brother was very overweight and I was shocked to see that after he lost it all he had no saggy skin. He went from 130kg to about 70kg and I couldn't believe he didn't have all the excess skin folds that you would assume he would have.
Raw cacoa is an amazing fat burner.
i would take a close look at your diet and see how much packaged food you are eating. Lots of packaged foods make you acidic which holds onto fat.
if you stick to a whole food diet you will be less acidic.
Simply drinking a litre of water when you wake up with a the juice of a freshly squeezed lemon will be an awesome way to start to become more alkaline. it takes practice to drink that much but just work up to it.
