weight lifting newbe help please

Hi,

After loosing over 4 stone in a year & doing lots of walking I now want to start lifting to gain some strength back along with needing to loose another 3 stone. My plan is to hit my target in another year so by that time I would lke to have built my mucscle mass up as well as shifting my last 3 stone so I have purchased some used dumb bell weights & now need some clear instructions for the various lifts I can do just with these weights for now, I am looking for some links to some simple lifts instructions with pictures or vid's if possible so I can make sure I am doing it right & safely.

Any help would be greatly apreicated.
