I'm wanting a vintage style for my hair, something from 40s or 50s. I'm really into curls, I use 1.5 inch rollers and such most days.

My problem is that I can't find any websites with pictures of hairstyles like this. I need a picture because I just moved to Germany and I can't speak German yet, so showing the hairdresser a picture is the next best thing.

Does anyone know of any vintage hairstyle picture collections online? Or something similar?

Also is there such a thing as a perm that can create looser curls, like the vintage ones I'm mentioning?
