OMG, recovery from three days of music, food, and drinking!

I went to a two day concert in the historic St. Augustine.. OH MY GOD they have wonderful food, drinks, Latte's :drinker: .. ugh the list goes on! However, even with biking and walking everywhere for about 12 hours a day... I went from 169.5 to 176.8.. :noway:
So now time to pay the fiddler, :ohwell: how much is possibly water retention from trying to keep up with my mother-in-law drinking.. and how much do you think I will have to re-lose.. Or should it all "work out in the end"... No matter what though it was so worth it!

Probably lost of sodium in that great food. I gained after a similar weekend but lost the water weight + some the week after by just getting back on track. Hey maybe you gained some muscle with all the biking and have upped your metabolism!!!0

You will always remember the fun you had there, and losing the 5 lbs is not so hard anyway, right?0

Probably a decent amount of it. Lots of sodium and you probably aren't use to biking/walking for 12 hrs a day, so you are likely retaining water from that as well. Get back to your regular eating habits and become bff's with water and you should see your weight back to normal in about a week0

Let's assume that somehow against all odds you ate 7000 calories MORE than you usually do in two days time. That's 2 lbs. The rest is water from drinking and sodium. Probably it is all from water.
Glad you had fun! Drink lots of water...0
