Turkey Cabbage Casserole
I made this last night and it turned out so good.
1 head of cabbage chopped
2 pounds ground turkey browned with spices (I used Jennie-O's) (Garlic, Salt, Pepper, Allspice, a dash of cinnamon)
1 onion chopped
1 cup uncooked rice
2 cans tomato sauce (I used Amy's Organic)
2 cans beef broth (I used all natural no fat)
Preheat oven to 350.
In a large bowl combine onions, tomato sauce, cabbage, rice, and meat - mix all together. Spread in a 9 x 13 casserole dish. Pour beef broth on top of the mixture. Cover and cook for one hour. Take out of the oven, mix, cover again, and cook for 30 minutes.
It was good last night, but I am having it for left overs for lunch and it is EVEN BETTER today!
