So, I have found a new challenge to help me lose weight: training for a marathon! I joined a group called Moon Joggers this year and set the goal to run 1,000 miles for the entire year. I have fallen quite short of that up to now, but have finally had my flame lit and I am currently on a training program that will have me running a marathon in April of 2014.
I ran for more than 60 minutes this past weekend. Up to then, I don't know if I ran more than 30 minutes at one time so far this year. Feels good to have the motivation and I am loving working off a schedule that tells me how much time to run throughout the week, how many days to take off, and then logging how many miles I run at www.moonjoggers.com. Excited to watch the weight melt off in this process!
