At A Stand still

Hi everyone!

Recently, I made a choice to change my lifestyle and eat healthier. I've been exercising for 2 weeks, and when I found out about MyFitnessPal I immediately jumped on the opportunity.

With exercising, I thought I need to lift weights to tone my body, but it doesn't appear to be working. I was always considered to be "thick" but I think this is getting a little ridiculous. I'm growing tired of my thighs "chaffing". Any help?My goal is to weigh at least 130. I'm 5'4 and for the past weeks weighed 156 (nothing more or less). Any advice? It would be greatly appreciated.

You haven't been at it long. Keep lifting, keep working out & give it more time. It took you more than 2 weeks to get out of shape, it's going to take more than 2 weeks to get in shape.

Yeah 2 weeks is not long enough at all to notice a difference, but keep lifting weights. Cardio is great, but when I started lifting weights was when I actually began to notice a difference in my body. Keep at it and you will get to where you want to be!

I really hope that you aren't logging all your food because if you are you're severely under eating and that isn't going to help you at all. You aren't going to make any progress with lifting if you don't eat enough to fuel your workouts. 1200 is the bare minimum you should be netting and you aren't even coming close.
  • So, you suggest to eat more?
