How to get back on track?

I've been on/off (usually off) with keeping a 1200 calorie diet for like a month and I'm not losing, and in fact I gained a pound or two back. I did really good yesterday and just cut out desert completely and then today I started good with low calorie grits and then I ruined the day (and probably the week) when I had a bunch of fried chicken, a LOT of soda and THREE klondike bars. plus I didn't exercise whatsoever today. How do you usually get back on track and start losing a steady amount of weight each week?? I REALLY want to start losing again. :/

I am having the same issue getting back on. I am taking it one day at a time. I will eat below my calories today. When I dont I try not to beat myself up but just try harder tomorrow. Then once I did that. I am going for a streak of a week then I will go from there.

    Good luck.

1200 seems low to me, but if that's what works for you than good. I used to go over on my food diary almost daily, until I started getting a lot of friends on here and joined groups and challenges. My diary is open to my friends and they do look to see what I've eaten. I just feel more accountable this way and it helps me feel like I want to eat healthier.
