it probably your water intake mine shoots through the roof when i am being good and makes me FREEZING
But hey you burn more calories trying to warm up:drinker: drink up!0 -
I'm so glad you brought this up, because it's been exactly the same for me! At first I thought it was the cold winter weather, but it hasn't changed much since it's warmed up a bit--and I mean a bit because it's only 43 degrees here. :grumble:
Could it be the water or is there some other reasonable medical explanation?0 -
OMG.. the same thing happens to me.. in fact it is a gorgeous 70 degrees and I am sitting here in a sweater.. I don't want to be cold all the time.. will this go away?0

It could be water, it could be related to the humidity in the air in your particular area and it could be your body adjusting it's rythym. Your body temperature actually relates to how your sleep patterns and alertness levels and it could be that your body is getting used to the exercise routine and adjusting for the sake of sleep.
Also, as you age you will find that your circulation may not be as good and so your extremities, like your feet and hands may be cold during certain times of the year (started for me around 30). Although 70 degrees may be a nice day you may still need a sweater (and if you are from someplace like arizona, like me, anything below 78 is cold anyway...lol).
Make sure you are changing out of sweaty clothing as soon as you are done working out, if possible take a warm shower asap and get dressed in dry clothing. This may help with the cold feeling. Also, I have found that just wearing a pair of sock slippers helps keep everything in check.
This may not have helped much but I gave it a shot.0 -
Are you exercising, raising your heart-rate for a good 30 minutes everyday? I find that if I eat healthy (drink water, etc) and don't do vigorous cardio at least once a day, I'm freezing too.
But, provided I give my metabolism a "jolt" once a day, it's not too bad. (I HATE the cold - even in Sunny California, I pull out the flannel sheets, down comforter - the WORKS once the temp drops below 70 degrees, lol!!)0 -
When I very 1st started losing weight I was always cold, even now as I'm getting back on track after having my baby, I am freezing all the time. Today everyone is out walking around in t-shirts and I've still got my winter coat on and I am really cold. I just turned the heat up (not for long cause my hubby's gonna turn it back down the minute he walks in the door)0

I'm always cold. I have poor circulation in my legs, therefore they're always freezing and like purple. My friends always make fun of me for it...ha.
I like to think that I'm losing insulation and therefore its good that I'm cold. haha0 -
Yes, I am cold alot now. Also in Sunny California and my circulation is good. I also drink a ton of water. I was joking with my husband about it and said " It's because I dont have any body fat anymore". Not exactly true :blushing: but my body fat has been reduced tremendously. My sister ( a RN) said it probably was true to some extent. Carrying around extra "blubber" keeps you warm. I've lost 30+ pounds of fat, so may be so.........0
