Ketosis?

Height: 5'6
25 year old female

I'm off to Thailand at the end of the year for a month so after taking my weight loss at a very slow pace this year i have decided to give the keto diet a go just for a few months.

Yesterday was my first day and i cosumed 50 grams of carbs, today i am aiming for 40 grams and will keep it between 30-50grams a day for the next three months.

I've never done anything like this before. I'm wondering if anyone has had any success on this? and will exercising make a faster difference? and any tips and advice?

    Presumably you don't have a lot of weight to lose? You're in a healthy weight range and I bet you look gorgeous :smile: If you're happy taking it slowly and it's been working, why not continue to do that? You've got time to lose a few more pounds without changing anything if you do feel you've got a little bit more to go.

    I believe keto works best if you lift heavy weights at the same time. You will burn the fat to use it as energy and will be creating muscle mass to look more toned and burn even more fat. It's a win/win situation
