Insomnia?

I hope this is an okay place to post this..
I know getting a good nights sleep is key to losing weight and getting fit, however, I have insomnia.
I've tried everything from melatonin to seeing what my doctor suggests and all of it to no avail..
For example, tonight, it's already 4:30am and I'm still up, and not close to being tired.
What I'm asking is, is there anyone else out there who suffers from insomnia and what did/do you do to help you?
