My non scale NSV's!

I have always had "thunder-thighs", buying pants are a pain for me because I have always had to buy them one size too big so my big thighs could fit them. I have been doing squats and jogging for an hour a day on my compact strider (no room for a treadmill in my house right now). Since I have been working out my jeans are a lot looser around the legs and I couldn't be happier!
My other NSV has kind of a sad history. About 8 years ago, I got married to a guy who took pleasure in tormenting me daily. He was in the Army and he came home from work one day and told me to stand up because he was going to show me something funny. He told me to close my eyes and I did, and he proceeded to demonstrate a takedown maneuver he learned on me. He took his fist and hit me so hard in the upper thigh that I immediately fell to the ground and began screaming in pain and crying. He got mad at me for crying and called me a baby and some other things I won't post here. We divorced not long after because the physical violence got worse and he turned out to be a cheater too. I have had problems with my leg ever since. Until I began exercising. I thought I would always be crippled because of what he did to me, but since I have been consistently working out and walking for at least 40 minutes to an hour every day I have noticed that my leg does not hurt as much anymore and I can walk around for longer periods of time. It makes playing with my son (not his) a lot easier.
My now-DH drives a truck and the last time he came home he said he noticed I was getting my butt back

Oh my! That was a horrible experience. I am happy you left that situation, but congrats also for your NSV0

Good to hear your Nsv's today. My biggest NSV was when I put on a shirt and my husband gave me crap for wearing a night gown in public! lol. I went out the next day to the thrift store and picked up so smaller clothes!
It is also nice to hear you got out of that relationship. I just recently got my little sister out of a bad abusive relationship with a marine. Way to go and keep up the awesome work!0
