Today, Krispy Kreme is offering free donuts if you order it "like a pirate", in recognition of talk like a pirate day. Don't say I never supported your journey.

    Aw shucks, the Krispy Kreme in my area closed down years ago. My son would've loved this!

    I wonder if they would have OK'd me coming to work in pirate garb for a dozen free donuts. lol

    There's a Krispy Kreme across the street from my office.

    I actually prefer Dunkin Donuts, especially the glazed and glazed chocolate.

    Krispy does a good Bavarian creme, though, because it's the one donut place that doesn't overdo the creme. And I like the glazed with chocolate and sprinkles on top, too.

    Off to drive for 30 minutes and make a complete *kitten* of myself in front of my kids! Argh!!!!!!

    It won't be the first time, or the last, I'm sure . . .but Krispy Kreme is worth it. :wink:
