I thought it would be interesting to get the MFP population's thoughts on the recently popularized soda tax or just in general, a tax certain state governments want to put on sugar sweetened beverages in order to fight the obesity epidemic. Obviously the majority of us are here in order to become healthier individuals and I thought it would be interesting to see people's opinions who are into health and fitness.
So tell me MFP community, do you think sugar should be regulated or taxed in anyway? All things that have a certain sugar count or higher or maybe just sugary sodas and other drinks like Gatorade?

The government has done that with cigarettes and people still smoke, right?
Just my opinion... :flowerforyou:0 -
I personally think its ridiculous. The government wants to blame fast food and sugar for the obesity epidemic yet eliminates PE from public schools? I prefer they stay out of my house, bedroom, vagina, refrigerator and anything not having to do with actually running the country.0
