I did the insanity test* this morning and a few hours later I noticed pain in my back. It's gotten worse since then and I've had some stinging pain move up my back a little as well.
I don't really mind the pain, but I don't want to make my injury worse and end up not being able to work out for a week or longer. I called a physiotherapist and booked in for Wednesday morning (soonest I could).
Do you think I can go for a run, or at least a long walk tonight?
I've taken antiinflammatory which has helped ease the pain.
*I know some people might ask about my fitness levels, as Insanity isn't exactly a beginner workout. I have pretty good muscle mass (I can do 20 man push ups, etc) I workout 6-7 days a week: Running, walking (hill climbing/trail walking), Zumba, circuit training.

It depends on the injury. Last Thursday I woke up and couldn't stand up straight after straining by back the night before. I was back running on Sunday night... don't do anything dangerous, but when you think you can handle it, then you can try some light working out again.0
