People who are starving? You meant the ones who disagreed with your approach and have a track record of success at keeping weight off and body recomposition? The ones that actually have advanced knowledge regarding the subject matter? And now you post an angry rant in M&S? Let us all know when you have a few years of success behind your belt.

    Hey.

Have you ever noticed that when the whole "Clearly you're all starving!!!" accusation is tossed out it's by people who probably eat way less than the ones they're yelling about?

I like it when people accuse me of being hangry...

...and my food log is open, so I know they're just being lazy and didn't actually click through to see what I eat.

Besides, it was National Talk Like a Pirate Day so I'm full of doughnuts. And if someone doesn't see that connection, then they missed out on their local Krispy Kreme's free booty today. I just said "free booty" . . .

You are totally missing the point of this entire thread, which is this: I'm hungry and I don't know what to have for lunch!

Who cares about this other stuff? don't you people know it's all about me?

I had oatmeal cookies and ice cream. True story.

    Pics or it didn't happen!

Well I mean...I ate it. No pictures.

another murican may be able to correct me, but graham crackers are kind of honey flavored. they are an any time of year treat! do you have a fireplace? lots of people roast the marshmallows that way. if not... luckily summertime is coming up for you soon right?

    Ramen noodles. And bacon.

Ramen has too much sodium. It will puff you up like a balloon. Much better to go with the bacon burger, fries and a shake.

Dip the fries in your Ramen soup. The salt from the fries neutralizes the sodium in the Ramen (kinda like magnets repelling each other). That makes it a sodium neutral meal. True story.

Sounds legit. I'm now craving miso ramen and french fries . . . does beer detox sodium overload? Never mind, I prefer to run my own carefully crafted experiments . . .

we have mallow puffs. Smores are just what people do when they can't get access to mallow puffs. Poor things.

Sounds totally legit. Do the calories from the fries neutralise the calories from the chips because i've only got 250 cals left today.

Yep. Summer here today in Melbourne. Now I'm intrigued - will have to hunt down some graham crackers - put them on the Christmas Day menu so I don't have to worry about the calories! Thanks for your reply xx

Are Graham crackers pronounced gram crackers?

Are they a brand, or a type?

graham crackers are the type of crackers crumbled up to make the crust for a NY style cheesecake.

No. That's just stupid. Calories don't neutralize each other, only salt/sodium neutralize each other!!! Jeez.

Ha. I'm not hungry. Usually I'm not. The forms are a "scary" place. Avoid them unless you want to hear a bit of sarcasm, a majority of people who have no idea what they are talking about (bad advice) or have a bit of fun at other's expense.

wow that did not take not long...

OP you posted information that was not correct. Foods do not burn fat...If a new person would have read your thread and all the replies were like "great idea" "thanks!" "you rock!" then they would have assumed - falsely - that eating snacks will contribute to fat burn; then, a month later they would be wondering why they have not lost any weight due to eating these magical fat burning snacks...

Maybe you should have researched what you were posting before making such a claim on a public forum...

So, I've been back on MFP for hmmm, a total of 4 days. I posted a few recipes on the food and nutrition board...big mistake! I now realize I have entered the land of "People Who Are Starving". I'm sympathetic to the few people that basically barked at me for my post. I understand, they are hungry and I was someone they could take their frustrations out on. Maybe I deserved it, I don't know. I mean adding that these recipes help to "burn fat" was the mistake. I should have known, right? I made a boo-boo. Oh well, now I remember why I left last time...probably should just stay off the boards....nah hell with them! See ya...hehe :)

< is one of the starving people who criticized OP....wait, I eat 2000 calories a day, I am starving? Oh nooo I am in starvation mode..I am going to go eat a snack to get out of it....

right on! as you learn the lay of the land again, you'll know what key words to avoid to steer clear of land mines. You"ve got the right attitude, but I bet you didn't count on the 'knee jerk', huh? :blushing:

Trust me, I am the opposite of hangry. 1) those snack look tasty. 2) calling them "fat burners" is a lie. 3). It is important to understand that when you post things on the boards and state them for fact you need to be prepared to support your statements without getting the burns. Having a reasonable debate as to the accuracy of something that you're stating as fact =/= bullying.
