Now I know it seems like alot in so little time, But I think on my first weigh in I was at my heaviest after my naughty weekend of food! I have gone straight from eating all the food to watching my calorie intake! So this massive jump of fewer calories Im having is why I have lost so much, but I know it will stable itself out.
When I lost 5KG a message came up, which I didnt really read and pressed yes, now my calorie goal has gone down! Is it going to keep going down the more I lost because I dont want it going too low!!!

I found that when I first started the sale just jumped down because I had made a big change in my food habits but now it is down to a plod of 1/2 - 1lbs a week (ish)

MFP will adjust your calorie goal based on your current weight and what your goal loss is. When you weigh more you burn more calories by moving around (as you have more to carry), so when you weigh less MFP adjusts the goals, you can manually increase them if it is too low.

There was a link that someone posted on here to get your TDEE (I think thats it) which is a good basis to work from, Il see if I can find it

Every 10 lbs MFP asks you to re-evaluate your calories. This is because as you loose weight you need fewer calories at maintenanace and therefore will have to continue to drop them to continue to lose. It is up to you wether you want to re-evaluate at the time. If you are having good results then you can opt to stay where you are. If you hit a plateau then you might need to re-evaluate. Its a personal decision. Some people experience higher than normal weightloss early on, water weight and daily fluctuations they didn't pay attention to before. It might come back so don't freak out if it does.

Thanks! I cant work out how to change the calories back without messing everything else up. I dont think it changed much so I shall see how I get on with my new goal! I hope the weight doesn't creep back up on me, but I understand if it did...just my body freaking out!!

Roll on the next few weeks/months of weightloss!

If you go to the MY Home tab, the dark blue bar beneath it click "goals". At the bottum there is a green button that says "change goals" and click the second option, that will take you to a new screen where you can manually input your calorie goals for the day.
