Sick, eating just as much and lost 3 pounds

Hi, so I've been pretty confused because this week I have had a cold and therefore been the definition of inactive but have lost weight. Usually I run about 6 miles 4 days a week and 10 miles 1 day a week. I haven't been sticking to my calorie limit this week either which is nothing new (over by 100-200). It's set for weight loss but I'm more in maintenance/training mode for a half marathon. I've been drinking lots of tea but I usually drink massive amounts of water so I don't think that's it. I'm 5'4 and this past weekend I was 117 and now I'm 114. Any ideas?

Probably fluid and fuel. If I stop exercising for a few days, I drop a few pounds, since I'm not retaining fluid for muscle repair and don't need the excess glycogen storage for fuel. Someone who understands it better can explain it better.
Or possibly if you have a fever, your body is burning more calories as it fights the virus.0
