I've been very lucky in that I have lost about 100 pounds and kept it off for over 9 years.
I do want to make sure that the old habits do not creep back on and I think this site is very good for tracking.

I was never an exerciser but have recently started a workout routine and I'm very excited about it.

Any suggestion on how to keep the momentum going would be great!

Thanks in advance.

First of all well done on an epic maintain!

I would suggest not going overboard on the exercise - get you body used to it. Going full blast and getting jaded, or even worse, injured, will be a recipe for disaster.

Also, don't expect the first form of exercise to be the one that suits straight off - you may have to try a few different activities before you find one that 'clicks' for you.

MOst important of all - ENJOY!!!

I did Michael Thurmond's six week body makeover and was flown out to do an infomercial. The diet was very good, as long as you did not cheat. I did not cheat, EVER. It took four months to lose the first 50, then the rest came off in about a year.

I've never looked back! I did not exercise while I was on the plan. The exercise started when I tore a rotator cuff and had to go to PT. The PT suggested some other exercises as Post Rehab and I've come to like the gym. I'll never love it, but I feel a lot better since I started the exercise.
