I get tendonitis in my wrists pretty frequently, which I think probably stemmed from my former desk job with its not so ergonomic desk and stuff.

It gets painful so much so that when I do pushups I have to ball my hands into fists in order to do them. I'm just wondering if anyone else suffers from the same problem, and what you do to push through your routine in order to get a good workout without injuring them further.

The majority of my workout at this point is weight lifting, as I've decided to follow the Stronglifts 5x5 plan. Would wrist guards help out in that I could still lift properly without possible damage to my wrists? I've seen some people with them, (the kind I have are actual wrist splints, which hinders movement greatly....which I guess is what they're supposed to do, haha) little straps wrapped around the wrist. Your thoughts?
